While at first, I resisted buying anything pre-processed that would have otherwise been okay, I've come around to the fact that it's good to know what's okay to buy pre-made when you're pinched for time or energy to cook good food yourself. It's also helpful when you aren't gluten, soy, dairy, and artificial sweetener (whenever possible) free, but you are feeding someone who is. With that said, here's a list of friendly food brands and the foods that each brand can substitute for or provide independently.
Udi's Gluten Free Foods: my favorite bread, muffins, pizza crust, cinnamon rolls, bagels, granola
Enjoy Life Foods: Cereal, cookies, granola, snack bars, bagels, trail mixes, chocolate chips, chocolate bars
Soy-Free Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread: butter
Nutiva: Coconut oil, shelled hemp seed, hemp seed bars
Luna and Larry's Organic Coconut Bliss: ice cream, ice cream bars
Turtle Mountain So Delicious (R) Coconut Milk Yogurt: Yogurt
Food of Life Whole Grain Brown Rice Tortillas: Tortillas
Coconut Secret: Soy sauce (Coconut Aminos), honey (Coconut Nectar), sugar (Coconut crystals), Coconut Flour, Coconut Vinegar
Petaluma Poultry: home of the Rosie Chicken (organic, free-range, vegetarian-fed chicken). This is some of the best chicken I've ever tasted, and my family seems to agree.
